THE WORLD BETWEEN US


The World Between US and Asia is a fresh take on the formula created by the late Charles Bronson. In this TV series, the hero returns to Asia after a lengthy absence and this time, he has a serious case of paranoia. Examining the aftermath of such a mass shooting where the shooter, the dead victims, the surviving media and himself are all connected. The investigation leads a man who was once a private detective into a world of conspiracy, secrets and power struggles. A highly entertaining action-adventure TV series.

The World Between US and Asia is produced and directed by Shimit Amin, who is most known for his work in Hindi films. Shimit Amin is a Taiwan-based film director and producer. This series is the first television project of Shimit Amin and it is scheduled to be aired on CCTV (Cable Telecasting Television), one of the most popular video cable channels in the world. This is only the beginning as the director is also planning a remake of the hit movie, The Man With One Red Shoe, with Chinese actor Robin Williams.

The World Between US and Asia is actually a five-part series that will focus on Taiwan, China, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Japan. This is the first project of Shimit Amin and is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2021. The five-part series is titled, "The World Between US and Asia". The plot of the TV series revolves around the reunification of two former enemies on the Taiwan island, the dispute over the Senkakai (tsunami) and Nanyang (smog) pollution that enveloped the area, the rise in Taiwanese-Chinese relations and the unresolved issue of ownership of Taiwan.

This new project is being touted by Shimit Amin as a sign of Taiwan's rise to economic and political greatness. The World Between US and Asia is also supposed to bring Taiwan closer to its international audiences especially those residing in Asia and the Pacific region. Apart from that, Taiwan is getting ready for the Olympic Games which is due to be held in 2021. As if these things aren't enough, there is still another very ofwpinoytv significant event which is about to take place in Taiwan: the Golden Triangle Tours. If these are Taiwan's biggest achievements to date, then the launch of The World Between US and Asia will surely be at the top of the list.

In The World Between US and Asia, Shimit Amin has casted a wide range of actors in order to depict all aspects of Taiwanese society, from the cute and humorous Taiwanese family characters to the more risque scenes of Taiwanese women. This mini-series has certainly been a ratings success not only in Taiwan but in China as well. So the next time you watch your favorite telenovela or watch a Taiwanese sitcom, do note that one of the main characters is a woman who is well endowed with facial features and who exudes Taiwan's Asian charm.

This new mini-series, which has already been making its way through different media, is proof that Taiwan's rise to economic and political greatness can be led by women. Taiwan is getting ready for the Olympic Games and it would perhaps be time for the Taiwanese people and women to rise up, take charge and make Taiwan proud.
