LA VIDA LENA

LA VIDA LENA is a Filipino show broadcasted live by Kapamilya TV. It is aimed at the high-school viewers and is subtitled in English and Tagalog. Directed by Jerry Lopez, Jojo Saguin, Andraynu Aravena and Vicente Pinoy, it is starring Erich Gonzales. The series first aired on KPBS in Philippines from December 2021 to March 2021. Its second season was cancelled after one episode.

The first episode of LA VIDA LENA revolves around a high school student named Juan, who is set to perform during the July month in his town, Alabang. He was left in the care of his grandma when his mom has recently passed away. His best friend and fellow classmate, Jho Manucheck are the musical director of the school band, which has been performing in many events like the Filipino American Day celebrations and the Filipino American Day parade in Lagazpi City. As a result, Juan becomes close with Jho but he also develops feelings for his fellow girl, Manila.

"LA VIDA LENA" became very popular in its first week of airings. It easily gained popularity in the national television in the first month. On the second episode, "Juan Ines", the show gained popularity by becoming the second most watched program in ABS-CBN's Sunday night lineup. It was one of the most watched program that week. "La Vida Lena" reached the first half hour of its broadcast on Mondays and Tuesday nights on ABS-CBN. The show reached a total audience of 4.1 million viewers.

The July 29 2021 episode, "La Vida Lena," featured the debut of the new character of Jose P. Laurel. This was a good thing for "The Good Wife" because it allows for a different take on the character of the heroine. "The Good Wife" already created much controversy because of the happy marriage of Alicia Floriana and Alba de Leon. "La Vida Lena" gives the writers a chance to explore a different side of the character of Jose.

"La Vida Lena," as it becomes known in English, continues the story of the relationship between Alicia Floriana and Jose P. Laurel. In the first episode, pinoy tvshows we saw how their wedding day is celebrated and we also saw how Jose made the preparations for the event. It was also revealed that he was the person who made the arrangements for the reception of the bride and groom. The good thing about "The Good Wife" is that it showcases how the two develop a strong friendship.

"The Good Wife" also featured a different take on Miguel Hidalgo. Unlike what we see in the previous teleserye episodes, Miguel no longer uses the code name "Guerilla." Instead, he calls himself Maseo. He reveals his intentions for being the next president of the Dominican Republic and tells how he was able to manipulate the media to get himself appointed. He was also able to win the election by a large margin.
